Line Follower PCB with components for ARDUINO / PIC
Assembly Required
Operation:-
This Board requires 5 digital outputs (from microcontroller) for Infrared transmitter and one analog input (from microcontroller) to read the Infrared receiver value. The Infrared receivers are connected in paraller with one common 63Kohm resistor. The uC turns on the Infrared transmitter one at a time and read analog value corresponding to that channel (Other infrared receiver stay in high impedance state).

Important Notice:-
You will require simple soldering skills. However no surface mounted components in the KIT.
No components supplied for Wheel encoder circuit. You can use the circuit to wire 2 slot sensors (Vcc, GND, Signal) or make your own circuit using IR transmitter receiver pair using the transistor BC547.
Various line follower circuits are available on the internet. Please study this board carefully to see if it suits you. We are always available to support you.
You have to solder the IR transmitter and receiver slightly (1mm) higher from PCB so that you can adjust them depending on your sensing target.
On our test circuit typical value read for wooden table top was 300 (1000 full scale) and black electric insulation tape 900 (1000 full scale) in indoor conditions. 700 was a good threshold value.
Testing
These boards are checked for physical defects.
RoHS
Our PCB is Lead(Pb) free and most of the Integrated Circuits are RoHS. However we cannot guarantee RoHS status of miscellaneos hardware items.
